Mary Lee LaBay, Ph.D., is the author of five books on hypnotherapy, past life regression, self-hypnosis, and relationships. Her books Past Life Regression: A Guide for Practitioners and Hypnotherapy: A Client-Centered Approach are widely used as textbooks on those subjects while her Through the Open Door: Secrets of Self-Hypnosis is a self-help guide for the general public (co-authored with Kevin Hogan, Ph.D.). Also co-authored with Dr. Hogan, were The Hypnotherapy Handbook and Irresistible Attraction: Secrets of Personal Magnetism, which rose to Number 2 on the Amazon bestseller list. Her most recent book, Exploring Past Lives: Your Soul's Quest for Consciousness, brings substantial, groundbreaking knowledge and experience to the general public on the topics of past life regression, experiences between lives, death experiences, and so much more.

Mary Lee earned her Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Integrative Health Sciences. She acquired certifications as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified Instructor of Hypnotherapy and maintains a private practice in Bellevue, Washington. In addition to her work with individuals, she is an approved provider of CEUs and certification courses in hypnotherapy, past life regression, and transpersonal discovery. An inspired presenter with a holistic approach to healing, Mary Lee has been a student, practitioner and instructor of spiritual growth for over 20 years. She leads workshops across the US, as well as in India, Europe and Great Britain. Mary Lee is considered an expert in the fields of hypnosis and spirituality by the media and has been published extensively in magazines nationwide. She was recently named in the Top 100 Thought Leaders by Leadership Excellence/Personal Excellence magazine.

She is the founder of Awareness Engineering, and was the founding President of the Lake Washington Chapter of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH). Mary Lee is the 2008 Secretary of the NGHWA, is a Senior Advisor to the Washington Hypnosis Association, and member of: Mensa International.
